As Ashbone Wish has pointed out there is an announcement out today via GGP as the operator that Jumonville #1 has been opened up slightly and is now producing at 40% increased rate from the the initial restricted flow.
So the flow has been increased from the previous 500 barrels of oil per day to 700 bopd.
That is obviously not the full amount that it can produce at since they are still restricting the flow.
"Permanent oil production facilities have been completed and the Jumonville #1 well has been opened up
slightly to a 7/64 inch choke and is currently flowing at 700 barrels of oil per day with 350,000 cubic feet of
gas and no water. The current flowing pressure of 7,100 psi is only 3% below the well head shut-in pressure.
Further increases in production rate will be considered once the gas sales line is completed in the next two to
three weeks and gas flaring is no longer required."
So we are still 2 to 3 weeks away from knowing what the well is capable of producing. Obviously it is going to be more than 700 bopd. How much more is the vital question !
Looking good though
