Let's please have coherent discussion. There is a role for coal in our economy but if it was to shut down, the country welfare wouldn't be as affected as you are predicting. Federal and states annual budget is 500billions+ for your information.
If one believes in the company medium- and long-term (and is not only playing trading), the current SP is almost irrelevant and may be even an opportunity to increase one's position.
Personally, I am worried of New Hope becoming a one-mine company from 2021 onwards. I am not advocating any stupid acquisition but there are non-negligible risks in relying on a single mine.
