If we give the vote only to the people who pay the taxes, that would sort out the Riff Raff. I'd suggest 1 vote for 1 grand of tax the payers stump up. The biggest contributors get the biggest say. You'd then get policies that made economic sense. Not weird ideas being traded back and forward, converted into law because someone has to do a deal with the devil to get a bill through. No more 'envy taxes', or layabouts voting for more support for layabouts
Of course, we would have all the pensioners a bit concerned, but most people that work hard and pay a lot of tax tend to want to help the truly needy and policies would reflect that. We'd have so much more doe to do it with too.
But dole for Greenies and other terrorists would be a thing of the past.
