This ignores omniscience and omnipotence in relation to the existence of evil and suffering, plus the bible tells us that God creates evil. Which, given omniscience and omnipotence, must be the case if the world was created by such a God.

Would you also advocate blaming road deaths on car manufacturers that did not need to be omniscient to know the vehicles they produced definitely had the potential to kill? The instructions from the Creator made it clear 'evil' was the consequence of disobedience.

(Genesis 2:16, 17) Jehovah God also gave this command to the man: “From every tree of the garden you may eat to satisfaction. 17 But as for the tree of the knowledge of good and bad, you must not eat from it, for in the day you eat from it you will certainly die.”

God's standard was that from a perfect man, perfect obedience was mandatory. Disobedience would result in 'ra', variously translated as 'ugly', 'evil', 'calamitous', 'malignant', 'ungenerous', and 'envious', depending on the context.

God is responsible for ''the tree of the knowledge of good and bad''. Adam is responsible for choosing the ''bad'' or ''evil'' instead of the ''good''.

    Drive responsibly!
