    I would be teaching the cat, as if it were a dog or any other animal...using treats as reward , when she has done something, after you show her, what you want her to do...
    rewards are not necessarily food, but can be a toy or a game...
    I believe I have seen a breed of cat that will naturally go on a lead...
    I will need to google it...
    and just imagine how much more interesting it will be for her , to go on walks with you...
    we might have to ask DR Harry....or look at his web site, see if he has done this before...
    here are some great tips, they sound very good...
    like training the cat inside, where there is nothing to take his attention away from you...etc
