Herbert W Armstrong was an antitrinitarian movement at one stage it was huge employing a hundred men just to distribute and mail their material.
Late in life Herbert Armstrong began to voice some concerns he may have been wrong unfortunately he died a heretic but sent countless of thousands to the pit of hell with him. Within less than 10 years after his death this large church organisation renounced their beliefs and reverted to Christianity. There had been minor schism in his church as more people began to read the Greek scriptures and understand what his claims about a God family was wrong but it all soon imploded after his death.
One of the more reprobate groups broke off and formed the UCG united church of God.
It was founded by Bob Dick and David Hulme, in Arcadia, California so another modern American cult it was a refuse of those who did not refute the heretical beliefsof Armstrongism and UCG was formed in May of 1995. They have the Beyond today TV and media outreach if you listen to them they almost can pass off as being Christian but now with the tools we have learned we can dissect and see are they Christian or a fake cult.
They teach two divine beings God the Father and Jesus so in a previous post we have shown the passage from Psalm 102:25-27 being applied to the Son in Hebrews 1 :10-12 refers to the one being of Almighty God not two beings.
So Christianity believes in one divine being the people from Beyond Today TV and magazine believe in two divine beings in a God family.
Now without question once you leave the monotheism of Christianity everyone should be able to recognise this is as a cult. Yes they knee cap the divinity of Jesus somewhat but they still claim two separate divine beings make up their God family.

We need to approach with some caution with the above explanation as yes God is in the plural form in Elohim even the great monotheistic shema of Israel
Hear O Israel, the Lord is our God, the Lord is one.
The word one used is Hebrew is echad which refers to a compound one like Adam and eve became one flesh as in Gen 2:24
King James Bible Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.
There is an word for absolute one which is yachid and God is never described as an absolute one but by the compound.
Now when we have a plural in Hebrew we can see in the UCG information that yes Elohim is in the plural form but we must be cautious.
The verb is singular and the noun is indeed plural so we have unity of the compound, but in Hebrew plural means three or more not two or more. The Hebrew has the singular then the use of the dual and also the use of the plural which is three or more.
For this heretical family of two divine beings we would want to see duality not plurality which we do not and was one of the reasons Herbert J Armstrong's Satanic church renounced their beliefs and reverted to Christianity. This was a modern example of the power of the Gospel.
Considering other cults there is hope as we have seen in this situation which has occurred.
Another issue but hardly their only issue is the same as what is facing Islam. If some of you have read the dispatches between myself and yasoooo the Sunni Muslim they have a major problem in Islam and in the Quran with Allah claiming to have the attribute of intercession yet there is no person who he can intercede to for Muslims.
The Holy Spirit the third person in the one being of the Godhead the plurality we see described in the old Testament. The third person of the trinity intercedes for Christians. These same cults that claim the Holy Spirit is just a force and not a person have the same problem as the contradictory Quran you need to be a person to be an intercessor to another person.

The United Church of God is an offshoot of the Worldwide Church of God. They claim to trace their origins back to the “Church that Jesus founded in the early first century+. There beliefs of a God family with two divine beings cannot be found in the early Church histories.
