Thanks for the replies, people. Apple shares are currently $US301, and I thought that was expensive. :)
I know that $175k worth of shares is the same at 1c or $1000, socksa, but wow, what a massive price to start with. nambo, thanks for the reference- I haven't read all KAR threads, although i am certaintly interested in KAR as a company.
I'm still a bit staggered at the IPO share price, even though it will be tightly held, etc. There must be a massive middle class in Brazil to buy in those lots.
Do you people think this new IPO qill be like the Apple of Brazil? As elemental commented, shares must be highly priced over that way. Our best companies in Australia are generally around 1/10 of that price. Maybe Karoon 2 will be cheap for Brazil- a veritable speccy! :D
