It’s clear fhat someone with a large holding has moved from the buy side on the screen to actually dumping stock. Only 5 million on the buy side now and 26 million on the sell.
Reason someone might do this is to try knock the price down off the back of a falling USD gold price and then buy back once it’s fallen: essentially shorting the stock based on the gold price falling.
A few days ago that gap had closed to an extent there were 19 million on the buy and 24 million on the sell. That’s why I think someone with a large holding has moved from being on the buy side to now trying to knock the price down.
Reality is this company is already deeply undervalued, so any further falls are a great opportunity to accumulate:
