Stu it would be better if the animal was sedated by injection and then lulled off to the other side totally painless but its not economical, and to be truthfull nature is way crueler than anything we can dish up, you only have to look at a pack of lions or hyenas gnawing on a live buffalo whos eyes are bulging to know what i mean..
