JP Morgan Chase stock price soared as buy back plan

JP Morgan said in a statement that the Board of Directors has decided to raise the quarterly dividend by 5 cents to 30 cents per share, and authorized a $15 billion share repurchase program. JP Morgan has identified $12 billion for stock repurchases in 2012, and $3 billion balance of the program will be still valid until the end of the first quarter of 2013. JP Morgan also pointed out that there was no any problem in the stress test by the Federal Reserve.
The JP Morgan stock price surged 7.03 percent, or $2.85, to end at $43.39 per share on Tusday.
