I heard Gillard state on TV this morning that expenditure increases only averaged 1.5% over the last 5 years.

I thought that it didnt sound anywhere near correct.

The 07/08 budget had expenditure at $232 Billion. The 13/14 budget is to spend $391 Billion. Thats an increase of $159 billion.

My calculator says its a 68% jump.

Thats like 10% per year.

Another BIG falsehood from our PM.

Why would anyone believe a word they say?????
