What I am cranky about is the senseless uneducated property speculation is warping the Aussie economy for everyone. I don't mind you being stupid as such is your right.
I do mind when it costs everyone else money though. If Germany can house everyone a few decades ago at 20% of average wages spent on housing, why are we not doing the same? Whay are they still not doing the same? Their rate is up to 27% now ( and social housing down to 1 million homes compared to the 4 million when it was 20% ) whereas we have people with the poorest accommodation going being 95% of their income or more and thus the homeless numbers go up and up - even for those working.
