perhaps save up a few quid by getting out of the sharemarket as it appears not to have been too kind to you. I remember years ago on the gold thread you were always shorting something or other which turned to shite and then you disappeared for a fair while. the stockmarket is a casino in case you haven't noticed, look at the goings on at DRO. get a house then have a punt if you have to but whinging ain't gunna fix anything...
landlords keep roofs over peoples heads and there's many landlords who are 'mums and dads' taking on a decent loan for their investment and then they have to put up with the likes of you. right now, name me a worse investment to get into than property... you can't! the gross return would be much less than 3%.
