The institutions are the only ones getting a meaningful cut of the discounted shares during capital raisings.
As they have more information they can be more confident to invest.
You can be 100% certain they get a lot more information than the rest of us so shorting and trading are ways they can make a few extra bucks while they wait for long term capital growth.
The new trend of SPL CR's dilute the shareholdings of the majority except for the institutions. I'm not happy about the trend.
