Just read an article on abc news online. Australias first electric plane is operating from jandakot airport and there are hopes that it does the rotto flight. The pace of technological change is ever increasing. This appears a game changer for the aviation industry and if the major airlines can go electric in the future will provide cheaper flights and a win for the planet.
