    I agree that oil shares, or gas shares. would be losers as long term investments. Thanks goodness for that. The oil sheiks are now buying Teslas and buying into solar. And I think the tipping point that you mention will come by 2020 at the latest. The answer may well come this year, when we should see a big drop in battery prices as the Tesla gigafactory ramps up and many new EVs are launched.
