From observation, the 'local' Adelaide-Melbourne-Adelaide intermodal trains operated by Pacific National typically used not to have LAU railable containers on. The latter were regularly on Melbourne to Perth and return trains.
However this example of the Monday night Adelaide to Melbourne train has 10 LAU containers. It's another small example as to how LAU's rail business is growing.
'2' = 'Monday' according to the Australian Rail Track Corporation (though many would think it ought be '1'); 'A' = Adelaide, 'M' = Melbourne and '5' is the train number:
