PS with the Kangaroo shooters you must be thinking of the pet food harvesters, that market is actually much bigger then the human consumption market.
As with any food products for human consummations in Australia there are strict guidelines, sure some might break the rules as with anything but they are in place.
if caught doing what you said and they were for human consumption I would hazard a guess there would be fines and loss of licence.
