After 25 yrs in the ITC industry I am interested in the marked lack of interest in ruddcon's $43m project. I have heard no recent complaints of the present broadband; even heard recent praise of the NextG system from a (large) bunch of farmers in the backblocks of NSW which gave them excellent access to a sophisticated corporate system in a coastal city.
Having said that I often hear grumbles about price - but if that's a big deal why aren't Rudd and co taking the big stick to Safeway - I hear way more grumbles about the divergance between farmgate prices and those on the supermarket shelves!
