If you look at your argument, WA has a woman leader ( ok, no big deal). So does the NT. NSW has a female Deputy leader. So one of your theories a bit susc.

The LNP in Queensland relegated Stoker below James McGrath in the Senate ticket, and she is much more conservative! So there goes another one of your theories! Sharma won NSW Senate position lately, and he's moderate!

So they just go for males?...Deb Frecklington was tried but to no avail, and she had a lot of good female candidates at the last election, but voters went with the covid scare ( particularly the oldies, hence Bribie Island, Caloundra, Bundaberg et al falling) and Anastasia "keeping them safe". Jacinta Price replaced a female senator in the NT, so no male substitution there, but certainly adds some diversity and huge talent.

Your beloved Labor party has male leader and Deputy at Federal level. Anne Ruston, Perrin Davey have leadership positions in the Senate for the Liberals, and of course Susan Lley, but yes there's many more males overall. But another fact you may like to consider, women have a lot of votes in the party organisation in the Libs and Nats...likely more proportionally compared to Labor caucus, and also many of their conferences. Conservative women, particularly older ones, tend to back males!
