basically by not being anti lockdown sooner , and much of the lockdown money was to pacify sqealls from the Left and ACOSS etc, not just business.....However, they should have held tough and let people suffer, because the electorate does not know any different than prosperity (or close to it) and take it for granted.....so they think tokenism about climate change is more important than a job!
even running the full term- which he had said he would do they got no recognition for... and the temptation for an early election would have been there when he was way up in the polls
