The concept of "fair" that Labourites clamour about is a farce in itself.
What is fair?
To whom?
If you're not a productive person of society, then should society support you?
How is that "fair"?
But Unions, labourites and the Left will have one think that it's "fair". Isn't that why we have welfare?
If you spend 1 year of your life acquiring an extra skill, and get paid the same as the guy next to you, how is that "fair"?
But Unions, labourites and the Left will have one think that it's "fair". Isn't that why we have minimum wage?
No one really believes in the concept of "fair". It's just a nice word that people throw around to get what they undeservedly want.
What is "fair" is to have no private schools based on money, but private schools based on merit and skill - i.e. Melbourne High School, Sydney Boy's, Mac Robertsons, etc...
Supporting private schools (by sending one's kids there) while clamouring about the concept of "fair" is the ultimate hypocrisy. Life isn't "fair". If you want better, you put in the effort and the hard yards. Otherwise, it's just highway robbery with a "Robin Hood" twist.
