I used to think the Jewel in the crown of this company was Vivagel.....but a tie up with Lilly (noting Jackie Fairley very astutely has reserved the right to do other drug delivery deals), if they can get this done then they should be able to license this to every other major drug company globally... That is ridiculous.

The drug companies get to extend their patents. Noting that more than half of Lilly's current revenue's roll off patent in the next couple of years - they need to get this done (hence why they are paying for all the R&D) and Starpharma gets to take a cut of all revenues for the drugs while under patent....Jackie also announced in a recent article that they are looking to do similar deals.

Vivagel is exciting - but imagine getting a tie up with multiple major drug manufactures across hundreds of drugs....
