Hi Strato,
I know there is more information to follow (or least we hope there is) and that means more to digest but in the meantime I want a question you asked thoroughly thrashed out here in the forum.
You posted "Even the board will move on eventually, with the Chinese taking control evetually - so what?
Hope the deal goes through, as in two years FML will be 30 cents plus"
"So what" you say.
If SG have a majority shareholding at 51% and they have a large partial owner of themselves in the Chinese Govt. what is their main aim? Shareholder returns or physical gold?
Is it possible they may plow every dollar of profit into the ground returning more and more gold to whoever they choose to sell to. We may never ever see a profit.
Just keep throwing the bucks in the ground baby.
I'm sure it would suit them....well.....forever.
Or at least until we've long ridden off into the sunset.
So maybe when you say "so what"......that's what.
Food for thought and I'd love to hear opposing or likeminded views.
