LNP used their numbers to shut down debate about Porter's blind trust funding of his legal bills.
This despite the Speaker of the House determining that there was a prima facie case to refer the matter to the privileges committee.
This has never happened in the history of the parliament. Never.
If this stands, then it means that all MP's in federal parliament can hide their sources of income from scrutiny by hiding behind such "blind trusts".
It's completely unacceptable, the conduct of the LNP in this matter is outrageous, stupid and sets a terrible precedent for transparency and accountability of our elected members.
There have been other reasons, but this matter DEMANDS that no matter what, at the next election everyone should put the corrupt LNP last on the ballot paper.
Anyone who is rusted on LNP supporter and wants to say Labor is worse - post away but you're wasting your time. LNP have lost ALL moral credibility and must be removed.
ALP especially under Albanese is going to be a horror show but NOTHING can be worse than this current government as it currently operates.
