Nothing new there re restructuring happening in UK. Happens all the time. Was not wise not to expect it when SGH has bought a company bigger than its own size. It takes time to identify issues and take appropriate corrective action rather than act in haste and regret afterwards. So SGH has taken its time and is coming out with the right decisions re UK business.
If managements dotn act rhen no one has a job and no comapny. Under that scenario every one suffers. Now some will go but many will remain and benefit.
