Has anyone here had experience with a class action case. As I understand it, there is usually a Funder & the Claimant's (shareholders) Lawyers. If the case is successful, then any amount after the Court costs/lawyers costs are taken out, the remainder (if any) is divided among the claimants in some percentage arrangement. But if the case is unsuccessful, then the Funder bears the court/lawyers costs & claimants get nil.
Just interested in knowing if there is a scenario whereby the class action claimants (meaning shareholders) personally get billed by the class action lawyers even though there is a funder who agrees to bear the costs.
Also, is there anyone here looking at joining a class action against SGH.
thanks
