The hearing is done, and no it wasn't public. The ruling will be public though.
I agree the Thai government has no doubt tried to play dirty tricks but international tribunals are used to dealing with unstable dictatorships.
You're right to be cautious. I was too when I first heard about KCN. If you read my first post on KCN I was skeptical about whether they could enforce the award against a dictatorship. Until I was reassured through my research that enforcement measures are effective outside Thailand.
