They have certainly had a big jump and could go on to better things. Quite a few hurdles ahead???
I was interested to see how quickly New York went from Horses to Cars. If that can happen in thirteen years how quick can we go from ICEs to Electric motors.
The big issue that makes the battery powered vehicle not everyman's cup of tea is range and charging time.
The most logical solution to mass adoption of EVs is IMO the fuel cell that converts a liquid fuel into electricity along with servos converting to filling your tank in a few minutes with the fuel that drives them.
All the hype about massive battery demand for EVs assumes too much about the future in my opinion.
