This may be the issue here... a theory as to why the concrete structures still exist from Roman days in Italy is due to the fly ash used from Mt Vesuvius - this is a much better pozi than kaolin. Silica flume (by-product of making silica metal) is too and much cheaper so more evidence is required before this is real too. The nanotube thing - this sounds interesting...i don't know anything about it but it sounds very interesting...
