I can also confirm after speaking with a company director. I believe the possibility of a raising was explored/mentioned to give management the leverage to lock in the offshore insto's who may have been wanting a sharper deal at the last minute. This is where the proposed cap raising idea arose.
I have seen insto's do this before. After all they know the company is working to a deadline.
I think it will be approx $30m Conv. note at 8c with and added $5-10m placement probably to meet the mandate of a coupel of fundies. Price is irrelevant IMO.

After all the CCC register is largely made up of Oz retail investors and we need funds to get the rerate and soaking of loose stock going.
