Spain could have 7 million infectedAn analysis by researchers from Imperial College London (United Kingdom) has estimated that between 7 and 43 million people have been infected with coronavirus in the 11 European countries with the most cases as of 28 March (Austria, Belgium, Denmark, France , Germany, Italy, Norway, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the United Kingdom), representing between 1.88 and 11.43 per cent of the population. In Spain, it would be infected between 3.7 and 41 per cent, representing a statistical average of 15 per cent, or about 6.99 million people. (From ABC today)
300,000 Italians live in homes for the elderly. 3,000 of them have died due to the Coronavirus in one month. ((ABC, daily newspaper from Madrid, today) Seems the main problem is the concentration of what would be a bad winter over a shorter period of time.
