You Operators (Traders for the Stock Broking firms on the floor of the ASX, for those who don't know) were either liked or hated by us Chalkies- And largely discussed back office.
I can remember at the end of most Friday's, having many beers with you blokes that had screamed at us for hours during the week. A beer seemed to cure everything, in a very Aussie way. Ironically, most of the Chalkies were to become Operators once given a start with a broking firm.
Memories' of very fun and busy times- learning the markets the hard way back then. Should be more chat like this on these forum's !!
