Yes I’m sure Medicxi especially, but also DLA Piper, and a raft of other vulture capitalist and corporate gravy train cling-ons are thrilled at this no-licence fee and no-milestone fee ‘deal’ and ‘partnership’ with Starpharma.
Hell even Starpharma board member David McIntyre got a piece of the pie by getting appointed to the new venture board. Just waiting now for a former Starpharma CEO to turn up as a paid Petalion advisor to really ice the cake and rub salt into the wounds.
In my opinion, Medicxi really saw Starpharma coming. We had probably better get used to Starpharma negotiating from a position of weakness going forward.
