I agree wholeheartedly with your general sentiment, but think the islamic nuclear option will never be an option. And if by 'nuclear weapon' you have in mind a Hiroshima type event (that's among the smallest of the bigger nuclear explosions) that's only possible for an organised nation to carry out. My case rests on self interest, the leadership class of all countries, islamic or otherwise, rarely expose themselves to the dangers they are happy to expose their followers to.
