Shareholders can rightfully assume that “registered for sale” in Saudi means it is approved for sale, right now.
I say this because in Feb 2021 when SPL announced that Viraleze had been “successfully registered for sale in Europe”, I thought that possibly Starpharma were being tricky with words (again) and the actual approval process may not have been completed.
I sent a query to Investor Relations and they said that registered for sale meant exactly that and no other approvals were required.
So given the exact same language was used in the Saudi “registered for sale” ASX announcement, there should be no impediment to it being sold straight away.
But as I said, Starpharma and E&N are now into their 6th month of “well advanced” launch preparations….
