Snozz it entirely depends on what people/entities are willing to pay and how much of a position they are trying to get. Some funds may want to own more but may have liquidity provisions that allow them to avoid having to buy in an illiquid market (as with NEU). Either way, if people funds are willing to pay above the current price than price will go up. If sellers start to take profits and are happy with whatever bid price is then price will start to go down regardless of whether it remains 'tightly held' or illiquid. Illiquidity just means that smaller amounts of money will make larger changes in shareprice regardless of direction.
