I don't agree we are stuffed but there is work to do the so called Aussie battlers and I think I was one once need sit down and have a think ,wealth,health and well being are not going to served up to people on a plate they are all things we need to work on if that is what we want.
I worked with the battlers on a wage below the average and most of my mates spent there wages on smoking,gambling and drinking but some like me saw the world differently and had a single minded view of saving money to get ahead,there is an Australia culture of blaming the government or other people for all the ills of the world,when much of it is a mindset and that was where I was until my mid twenties when my boss gave me an earful of advice that was hard to accept but eventually set me up for life.
