Despite the Collins class subs being based in WA, the crews living in WA and much of the current maintenance being done in WA at the ASC shipyards our dear PM has decided to have maintenance done thousands of km away from where they are based at awarded the maintenance to SA.
SA shipyards will be full on building the yankee subs. I doubt they will have much docking capability left to do maintenance on the existing fleet unless Scomo kicks in another 10-20 billion dollars.
A reward to SA and another slap in the face to WA. He really wants to lose seats in WA this mug. Punish any Labor state.
