Likewise I was none the wiser to the history in this sector.
To be honest the large drop in SP of TPM was the main catalyst for me in terms of getting heavily invested in the tech space. Never seen any stock so oversold.
Then, from there, I read Jason's comments about Bevan Slattery and came to the conclusion that Bevan is the kind of chap who could succeed once again, even though market conditions are rather difference.
This year, for TPM, is make or break.
IMHO Teoh will do whatever is necessary to get into the mobile market here. Just like he did in Singapore. Even selling with a small profit margin is worthwhile if you can be 1 of 3 or 4 markets.
*BUT* if he doesn't get the 700MHz, I will be selling my TPM for MP1 - it's the safest bet on the ASX at the moment.
