my observation re australia

from what I see Australia as a nation
just doesn't seem to be progressing
we are still reliant on mineral exports
manufacturing industries are all but closing down
no high tech equivalents of usa and Germany
we still seem to be way behind most other developed nations in most things
why well you tell me
ive come to my own conclusions as to the reasons why
and poor governance is a major factor
as a supposedly highly developed nation we seem to be going absolutely no where
and not progressing as a nation
