If you think a company's share price accurately represents it's underlying value I have to ask why you're bothering in investing in individual companies rather than a low cost index fund or ETF? (Look up the efficient market theory if you're wondering what I am taking about)
The only reason I do invest into individual stocks is because I believe the market is an irrational place driven by emotions - where price and underlying value can be miles apart. This presents an opportunity.
