Iam not very good on tecknical matters,but I think what you are saying Navy is although the battery is rated at 10kw,if you are charging from a lot of panels then effectively you are getting around 15kw capacity,I never thought about this before which would certainly give Redflow a plus.I live in Qld so of course we get a lot of sun,during the winter I average around 22kw in winter and well over 30 through summer.We need to understand and discuss these matters in depth re the charging and discharge of the batteries.The 10 year warranty is based on the battery being completely discharged twice a day,but if you are charging it at the same time as using the power,how does that effect the life of the battery,as you might only cycle the once only when you use your nightime power??
