negotiating homeloan rate, page-8

yer got through to the 'relationship manager'. originally had 0.5% below base variable for first 3 years as a 'honeymoon rate'.. that was due to expire next month.

pleaded my case, used ubank and bankwest refinacing options as options to switch to. they dropped it to 0.8% below base variable for the length of the loan. i was happy with that, for the cost of a phone call, not a bad 20 minutes work.. see some of you guys have got 100 points off.. i might wait a few months to see if i can get them to drop further. appreciate the feedback
