I was hoping with the “ apparent” increase in cancers that Pharma would be looking for something novel like what SPL has been trying to launch?


@SalmonKing there in lies the issue - LT holders have been told for almost a decade now of how good the DEP® science supposedly is but no one wants to license it ? Starpharma have on multiple occasions told the market that several potential partners were in confidential discussions with the company off the back of the DEP® results with nothing coming to fruition. Below is an extract from an ASX announcement in 2021 and as we know not one of these several potential partners has taken up a license of either DEP® Cabazitaxel, DEP® Docetaxel (now dead) or DEP® Irinotecan 3 years later.... even after all the additional phase 2 trial data for each has now been released in the last 12 months

If the science is 'so good' then why doesn't anyone want it ? IMO and also mentioned by the previous CEO in the 2022 AGM, there are newer and better treatments on the market. These 'appear' to have superseded all of what Starpharma have been trialing - she mentioned how they were struggling with recruitment due to the availability of the new treatments. Add to that, taking 10+ years just to finish phase 2 trials hasn't helped either so perhaps our DEP® drugs are now obsolete given no one wants to license them ?



IMHO Viraleze works as our household has used it for 3+ years and we have remained COVID-19 free but given the lack of interest in the DEP® drugs currently then the best we can probably hope for is an opportunistic takeover at this stage if the new CEO doesn't deliver anything material soon ? Maybe big pharma can actually do some good with the DEP® tech given the vast difference in resources in comparison to SPL ?
