The FDA has been holding this up for years and making it impossible to get approval.
The real reason that I feel the FDA is doing this is that the big US companies are waiting 'til the patent runs out so that they can produce the same in huge quantities and with greater marketing capacity.
It obviously works and that is why the US military are using it, but it won't be profitable for Avita until it is used in large quantities.
