Have experienced the same problems/loopy runaround from CommSec on numerous occasions including last Friday as well to the point where they wouldn't even let me execute buy orders with the money in my CDIA account until all current trades had settled. I was passed from operator to operator all whom had admittedly no idea what was going on before stating my account would need to be put under investigation to make sure I wasnt trading illegally. After finally being put through to someone at CommSec One and fed the same lies and excuses I dropped my lolly bag. Made mention of their illegal lending practices along with a subtle reference to the Royal Commission and HAZAH! Almost instantly my account was back to normal and is operating swifter than ever. I have seen them do this to many traders I know - they're more than happy to let you lose money but once you start making it they'll lock you up in a heartbeat! White collar crime at it's finest!
