Hi @Edmorgrimm, like a number of keen HC contributors who have been watching the course of sale during the day, especially the price actions on closing, There had been many instances that a single digit of shares being sold to push the share price artificially down. You could examine the course of sale at end of day and see anomalies on some days. Clearly a retail client could not sell these super small parcel of shares. A few examples are shown below.



Retail clients normally buy/sell stock in round number of shares or dollar value. Therefore parcels with odd volume AND odd dollar value would be most from brokers themselves. Take the whole day's course of sale for Wed 16.08.2023 as follows, the "odd" parcels constituted 23% on either side of the BUY / SELL queue. Was it a coincident? One possible explanation is these orders were actually from the same broker(s). They buy at sub-6c and sell above 6c, making a whopping 10% profit. Wash, rinse and repeat! Why not, when they have a huge insto client wanting to accumulate at a controlled low price.



Below is the daily chart of PYC from the beginning of 2023. The massive accumulation at 6c or under would be quite apparent when the VRVP (Visible Range Volume Profile) is plotted on the right. There were a total of 77.505 million shares transacted between 5 - 6c YTD.



There are a lot more case to be found. Sometimes they even sell 1 share to push up or push down the day's closing price.
