Potential Acquisition of African Assets

The Directors of Weatherly International plc (AIM: 'WTI', 'Weatherly' or 'the
Company'), announce that it has entered into heads of agreement with New World
Alloys Limited ('NWA') regarding the potential acquisition of NWA's African
subsidiaries which hold its African assets.
The transaction is conditional, subject to due diligence by Weatherly,
shareholder approval by NWA and regulatory approvals as required. The
consideration for the transaction is up to A$7,500,000 with outstanding
liabilities of approximately US$500,000 remaining the responsibility of NWA.
