"The planets appeared to have abandoned New World Alloys, which suffered the biggest loss for the day on news Weatherly International will not be proceeding with the acquisition of NWA's African assets after conducting due diligence.

Investors did not seem too keen when NWA announced it would dispose of its African assets last week to Weatherly, with its share price shedding some weight, however the recent news is yet another blow to the company that is now trading at a 12-month low after losing 0.7c (20%) to close at 2.8c."
